Ingredients:
- 2 cups nuts (almonds, cashews, peanuts, etc.)
- 1 cup seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, etc.)
- 1 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, apricots, etc.)
- 1 cup chocolate chips, m&ms or similar small chocolate candies
- 1 cup pretzels and/or popcorn (optional)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the nuts and seeds out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly toasted and fragrant.
- Let the nuts and seeds cool to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, mix together the nuts, seeds, dried fruit, chocolate, and pretzels/popcorn (if using).
- Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired. Mix well.
- Store the trail mix in an airtight container or ziplock bag.
