Baked Feta with Tomatoes and Basil

Ingredients:

  • 1 block of feta cheese
  • 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • Toasted bread or crackers, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the block of feta cheese in a baking dish and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the feta cheese and tomatoes.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the feta cheese is melted and the tomatoes are burst.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Serve hot with toasted bread or crackers.
