Easy and Delicious Tomato and Mozzarella Panini for a Perfect Lunch
There’s nothing quite like a warm and toasty panini for lunch. This easy recipe combines the classic flavors of tomato and mozzarella for a delicious and satisfying meal. Best of all, it only takes a few minutes to make!
Ingredients
- 1 ciabatta roll, sliced in half lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 4 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a panini press or a large skillet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and garlic.
- Brush the cut sides of the ciabatta roll with the garlic oil.
- Layer the tomato slices, mozzarella slices, and fresh basil leaves on one half of the roll.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the other half of the roll.
- Place the sandwich on the panini press or skillet and press down gently.
- Cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 5-7 minutes.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
