Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to an even thickness
- 1 bundle of asparagus (about 1 pound), trimmed and cut diagonally into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the olive oil and asparagus to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the asparagus is crisp-tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
