Ingredients:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz. crab meat, drained and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Sweet and sour sauce for dipping
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers on a flat surface. Spoon a teaspoon of the mixture onto the center of each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger into a bowl of water and moisten the edges of the wonton wrapper.
- Bring the edges of the wrapper together to form a triangle or a boat-like shape. Press the edges together firmly to seal the filling inside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or a heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat until hot (about 375°F).
- Carefully drop the wontons into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wontons from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
