Deliciously Simple Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta Recipe
A quick and easy pasta recipe that is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 pound of pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
Instructions:
- In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the garlic butter shrimp.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta and shrimp. Toss until the cheese is melted and everything is well coated.
