Creamy Tuscan Chicken: A Deliciously Easy Dinner Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
Instructions:
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add garlic to the same skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Add spinach and fresh basil to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until wilted.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Cook for 2-3 minutes more, or until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
