Ingredients:
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 package wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
Directions:
- Chop the shrimp into small pieces and mix with the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, green onions, and cilantro in a large bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Using your fingers, wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water.
- Fold the wonton wrapper into a triangle shape, making sure to press the edges together firmly.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or saucepan to 350°F.
- Carefully place the wontons in the oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from the oil with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
