Ingredients:
- 1 lb. asparagus spears, washed and trimmed
- 8-10 slices of bacon
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of bacon, starting at the bottom and spiraling up to the top.
- Place the bacon-wrapped spears on the lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Use a pastry brush to brush the oil mixture over the bacon-wrapped asparagus spears.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender.
