The Perfect Summer Appetizer
Ingredients:
- 1 block of feta cheese
- 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- A handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Toasted bread or crackers, for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the block of feta cheese in a baking dish and surround it with cherry tomatoes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the feta cheese and tomatoes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the feta cheese is melted and the tomatoes are burst.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves.
- Serve hot with toasted bread or crackers.
