Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add butter to the same skillet and melt. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add heavy cream to the skillet. Stir and let simmer for about 5 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet and stir until coated in the sauce. Let cook for another 1-2 minutes to warm everything through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
