Ingredients:
- 6 black tea bags
- 6 cups of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Directions:
- Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot, then remove from heat.
- Add 6 black tea bags to the pot and let steep for 5 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved.
- Add sliced peaches and 1/4 cup of lemon juice to the pot and stir.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then transfer to a pitcher and refrigerate until cold.
- When you’re ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the peach tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!
Tips:
- If you prefer a stronger tea flavor, use 8 tea bags instead of 6.
- If you like your tea less sweet, you can reduce the amount of sugar to 3/4 cup or even less.
- If you don’t have fresh peaches, you can use canned peaches instead.
