Morning Mocha Protein Shake
Rev up your breakfast or preworkout snack with this chocolate-java shake.
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (6 tablespoons)
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso coffee powder or granules, steeped in 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso coffee powder or granules, steeped in 1/4 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed meal
Instructions:
- In blender, place all ingredients. Cover; blend on high speed until smooth.
- Pour into glass. Serve immediately.
