This ginger-mint lemonade recipe is a delicious twist on the classic lemonade, and it’s perfect for hot summer days.
The combination of fresh ginger and mint gives this lemonade a unique flavor and the perfect balance between sweet and tangy.
Ingredients
- 6 lemons, juiced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, mint leaves and ginger.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, cold water and the honey-mint-ginger syrup.
- Stir well and add ice cubes.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
