Roast Beef and Avocado Sandwich Recipe
A delicious and satisfying sandwich recipe perfect for lunch!
Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 4 oz. of thinly sliced roast beef
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 leaves of lettuce
- 4 tbsp. of mayo
- 2 tbsp. of Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a pan or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread mayo on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer roast beef on one side of each bread slice.
- Top the roast beef with sliced avocado.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the avocado.
- Spread Dijon mustard on the other slice of bread and place on top of the avocado.
- Place a slice of cheese on top of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches on the pan and cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from the heat and add a leaf of lettuce to each sandwich.
