Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups chocolate chips (I use a mix of regular and mini semi-sweet)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. In large bowl, cream sugars and butter on med-high speed until light and fluffy
  3. Add in vanilla and eggs and mix until blended
  4. Add in flour, baking soda and salt and mix on low speed until no flour streaks remain. Add chocolate chips and mix for additional 30 seconds just until the chocolate chips are dispersed evenly
  5. Refrigerate the dough for a couple hours (or freeze for an hour if you are short on time) and scoop out rounded tablespoons unto parchment lined baking sheet
  6. Bake 11-12 minutes depending on how soft you like your cookies. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes and enjoy with a tall glass of milk!
