Savoury Spinach and Feta Puffs

A Perfect Appetizer for any Occasion

Savoury spinach and feta puffs


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  4. Stir in the feta cheese and dill, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Cut it into 12 equal squares.
  6. Place a spoonful of the spinach mixture in the center of each square.
  7. Brush the beaten egg on the edges of each square, then fold and seal the pastry into a triangle shape.
  8. Place the puff triangles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Brush the tops with the remaining egg.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
