Cake for Breakfast
Ingredients:
- 2 peaches (sliced half an inch thick)
- 3 T melted butter
- ⅔ cup of brown sugar
- Cake:
- ¾ cup of granulated sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1½ cups flour
- ⅔ cup milk
Instructions:
- In a bundt pan (or 9×9 inch pan) add in the butter and grease the whole pan. Layer on the peaches and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- For the cake; cream together butter sugar and vanilla. Beat in the eggs and mix until pale. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Add in flour and milk mixing until just combined.
- Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees or until a knife comes out cleanly.
